The Origins

The more the years passed and the more my experience increased, the painting was composed not only of colors but also of matter and sign. The painting with the lightning, painted on the day of maturity, already expresses the importance of the sign and its strength with the representation of the liberating and vital lightning that bursts on the canal.

From 1975 onwards my style was affected by the artistic environment of Mestre and by the expressive model of my teacher Pietro Barbieri.

Initially, like him, I painted in oil with soft and shaded colors but the germ of abstract art was already present.
